The General Consulate of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Houston informs the public that it will open its doors next Monday, December 1st, 2008. This Consulate has jurisdiction over Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma and New Mexico. The interim General Consul, Carlos Osorio, indicated that the Consulate will be open for business to the public on Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and to previously scheduled appointment until further notice.
