Venezuelan Foreign Minister Delcy Rodríguez, spoke today over the phone with US Secretary of State, John Kerry, in order to progress towards the regularization of bilateral diplomatic relations.
"At the request of Secretary John Kerry, I received a phone call from him today to normalize diplomatic ties... Conversation with Secretary John Kerry was fluent and tense at moments. I frankly expressed positions of dignity of the government and Venezuelan people", Foreign Minister Rodriguez announced via Twitter, and mentioned that dialogue remained in firm defense of the Venezuelan dignity.
She noted that in the coming hours will report on the details of the conversation with Secretary Kerry.
