President Nicolas Maduro, attended on Tuesday to the National Pantheon in Caracas, along with the Cuban Five to honor the father of our country, Simon Bolivar.
In the activity a floral offering was given to the Liberator as part of the events performed today and the Head of State honored the Cuban Five with the Order Liberators of Venezuela in his first class, under heroism and commitment to freedom.
Rene Gonzalez, Ramon Labatiño, Fernando Gonzalez, Antonio Guerrero and Gerardo Hernandez came to the country on Monday for a series of political and cultural events, the first visit made together internationally.
Fernando Gonzalez, Cuban hero, acknowledged the support of the government and Venezuelan people and reaffirmed their patriot commitment to the Bolivarian Government.
"We want to convey our commitment at a time when Venezuela is under the hostility of the United States, they can count on us and with Cuba. Venezuela is being attacked because the dream of Bolivar has been resurrected and lives in Latin America, "he said.
