The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, on behalf of the Venezuelan people, reiterates the willingness to continue sending humanitarian aid to and promoting acts of solidarity with the Palestinian people.
The Bolivarian government, through a statement, announces that a shipment of humanitarian aid has reached the people of Palestine. Furthermore, the government categorically rejects the break of the cease fire and the resumption of Israeli attacks, which resulted in 151 injuries and 16 deaths on Wednesday alone.

The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, as a demonstration of the unbreakable and unrestricted support for the Palestinian cause that was directed by Commander Hugo Chávez and reiterated by President Nicolás Maduro Moros, has successfully sent a first shipment of humanitarian aid containing a dozen tons of medical supplies, food and clothing donated by the Venezuelan people.
The shipment of humanitarian aid was delivered to the Red Crescent headquarters in Palestinian territory by a delegation led by Venezuela’s Ambassador in Egypt, Juan Antonio Hernández, in the middle of infamous attacks by the military forces of the State of Israel against the people of Gaza. In that regard, the Venezuelan Government categorically condemns the break in the cease fire and the resumption of Israeli attacks, which yesterday resulted in 151 injuries and 16 deaths.
The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela demands and immediate end to the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories and insists that the UN Security Council issue a resolution demanding a definitive end to Israel’s attacks on Gaza.
Furthermore, Venezuela asks that the UN Human Rights Council speed up its investigations into war crimes committed by the Government of Israel.
