President Maduro calls on people to build rank-and-file government

Caracas, Jul 03. AVN. - Venezuelan president Nicolas Maduro called on the population to exert their sovereign power to work on the construction of a new popular government system in hand with Street Government.

"I call on the Population to exert SovereignPower to build a new Popular System of Government with Street Government. Let's continue Overcoming!," posted the President to his Twitter account @NicolasMaduro, referring to his request of reviewing the Government's communication and action mechanisms to make them more efficient.

UBCh proposals

In another message posted to the online social network, president Nicolas Maduro welcomed people's broad participation at a meeting with rank-and-file battle units Bolivar-Chavez (or UBCh) in Apure state on Wednesday.

The assembly was headed by first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, who informed that UBCh answered to Maduro's call and drafted 122,024 proposals to consolidate the country's development.

About the matter, president Maduro posted to Twitter: "Diosdado here I am checking UBCh proposals to improve our Bolivarian Government, bring me Apure's proposals to include them."

In another message, the President referred to the third PSUV Congress, to be held in Caracas on July 26, 27 and 29, where UBCh proposals are going to be analyzed.
