According to the president of Venezuela's National Anti-Drug Office (ONA), Alejandro Keleris Bucarito, the Bolivarian National Guard made several important drug seizures over the weekend, decommissioning 81.3 kg of cocaine in the state of Carabobo, 17 kg of cocaine in Falcón, and 102.3 kg of marijuana in Trujillo.
The marijuana was found by military personnel in Trujillo in an abandoned vehicle in the municipality of La Ceiba.
The ONA President made the announcement via his twitter account, @AKeleris. According to a press release, a total of 100 bricks of marijuana were found in a false-bottomed car.
In Carabobo, officials found three suitcases containing 75 packages of cocaine inside a construction vehicle on a ship bound for Mexico.
The cocaine seized by officials in Falcón was also found inside a vehicle, and a 40-year-old man from the state of Zulia was arrested during the operation.
Over the course of two days, the Bolivarian National Guard stopped a total of 200.6kg of narcotics.
