More than 400 bills have been passed in the unicameral chamber in the last four years
In a four-year term dating back to 2006 the Venezuelan National Assembly passed 418 bills, amongst those 144 laws and 264 approbatory legislations. The endorsement of these legal instruments show that the Venezuelan parliament has worked continuously for the interests of the Venezuelan people, said Deputy Carlos Escarrá, during a TV show broadcasted by a state-owned station.
The laws establish citizen rights and obligations, while the approbatory legislation refer to laws that the unicameral chamber approve for several legal acts.
Deputy Escarrá added that the National Assembly is the institution that has endorsed the most legal instruments in four years.
