This coming Wednesday, the National Anti-Drug Office (ONA) in cooperation with all other national security offices, will join efforts to define an official strategy to fight the micro-trafficking of narcotic and illegal substances.
The Director General of ONA, Mr. Néstor Reverol, revealed this today during a television interview in Al Momento, transmitted by the official Venezolana de Television (VTV).
Reverol informed the public that this activity will be held simultaneously in all Venezuelan States. The goal is to design, implement, execute and evaluate the official public policies and strategies the government has taken related to the anti-drug efforts by means of reducing local offer and demand.
A Strategic Analysis - Situational Room (Sala Situacional de Analisis Estrategico) has been installed for this purpose that permits prompt communication for all national and international police agencies.
Reverol also highlighted that real-time video-conferences with all Venezuelan Ambassadors world-wide were set up, as to keep them informed of all progress on anti-drug efforts being accomplished by the Bolivarian Government.
The Venezuelan Ambassador to the United States, Bernardo Alvarez, informed that they have worked tenaciously to discredit and dismantle the drug campaign and media war that the United States government has held against Venezuela.
