A poll conducted by the Social Investigative Group (GIS XXI) revealed that 69.2% of the Venezuelan population qualifies as good the administration of President Chávez.
The announcement was made by the director of GIS XXI, José Vielma Mora.
The poll, taken between the 5th and the 15th of June this year, asked the following question: “How would you qualify the administration of President Chávez?”, which received a majority of positive responses.
Vielma Mora stated that the study reflects that 68.9% agree that the president has promoted very positive changes for the country, while 50.2% consider that his leadership is the only guarantee in Venezuela’s progress.
Likewise, the director of GIS XXI revealed that 57.4% of citizens affirmed that the latest fiscal proposals made by the government are good for the country.
For its part, the representatives of the national political opposition registered 57.2% of massive rejection. People interviewed qualified the administration of the opposition elected officials as very bad.
