Six cocaine processing laboratories were discovered by the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) and the National Anti-Drug Office (ONA) in the Venezuela-Colombia border, in the municipality of Catatumbo, Zulia (northeastern Venezuela).
2,800 kilos of cocaine paste were found (base material which could potentially have prepared more than 3,000 kilos of cocaine), 100 kilos of high purity cocaine, and large quantities of chemicals used for processing the drug.
Three people were detained, all of whom were undocumented.

The authorities at the GNB and the ONA dismantled the 6 laboratories this Friday, and later will host a press conference on the site.
