In a recent assessment of Chavez Administration’s performance over the past year, 67.1% qualify it as very good to good, said the director of the Social Investigative Group XXI (GISXXI), Jose Gregorio Vielma Mora, in a press conference at the Hotel Alba Caracas
Citing the most recent political and economic polls, Vielma Mora emphasized the degree of approval that the head of state currently has.
The sample group was asked: Over the past year, how would you rate the administration of the president? 67.1% said very good to good, 20% bad, and 11.9% said normal.
Regarding the question: If presidential elections were held tomorrow, for whom would you vote? The answers were: 53.4% would vote for Chavez, 32.5% against, 8.3% do not know, and 5.9% did not respond.
Regarding the opposition, the question was: Over the past year, how would you rate the administration of the opposition? very bad to bad, 52.1%; regular, 24%; very good to good, 18.8%.
