The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela will inaugurate 1,000 schools this year. 800 of the educational institutions will be ready for September.
The news was announced by the Minister of People’s Power for Education, Hector Navarro, on the program “Venezuela Awoke” on Venezolana de Television (VTV). Also, the Minister stated that all the new schools will open their doors during the next school year.
“Until the 15th of September the Government will be inaugurating one school a day, which will all function in the next school year,” confirmed Navarro.
The Minister said that the Revolution promotes the concept of the school as a center of community growth. At the same time, Navarro explained, the constant evaluation of teachers will be strengthened.
“To construct a new and different homeland requires the constant effort of educators,” concluded the Minister.
