Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro received Maestro José Antonio Abreu at the presidential palace on Tuesday evening as part of a meeting to strengthen national cultural programming.
After the meeting, Abreu said that a basic agenda was set for the Simón Bolívar Music Program.
“With this project, we are going to strengthen the System of Youth and Children’s Orchestras and Choirs,” he said.
The project will reach millions of children by providing instruments and orchestras as well as new spaces for culture and music.
