The political leadership of Venezuelan president Nicolas Maduro is being strengthened across the country, shows a recent survey conducted by pollster Hinterlaces.
Journalist Jose Vicente Rangel disclosed the information last Sunday during his weekly television program, adding that the poll was conducted nationwide on September 20-29.
According to the survey, president Maduro leads his closest representative of the opposition sector by 24 per cent. The opponent, in turn, surpasses his closest contender by 2 per cent.
The investigation also reveals the level of preference towards political parties.
Concerning the question “which political party you like the most?,” the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) had the highest result: 36 per cent. Meanwhile, the “amount of sympathy of all opposition parties add up to just 13 per cent,” Rangel informed.
